It's 1929,and the decade has been an era of social and political change, economic wealth, and... prohibition. During this dry time, Americans have been willing to get their booze by any means necessary, and so the speakeasy was born. Recently, a new upscale hot spot, Tiger Lilly's, has been the talk of the town. A newly widowed young singer in cahoots with her dirty cop beau, has made Tiger Lilly's THE new place for society's elite to enjoy a drink without any fear of the law.
Will the city's newest speakeasy knock 'em dead? Or will it soon be curtains?!
Get on those Hot Rags, honey!
Check out 1920's Women and 1920's Men for ideas on how to dress for the event! Feel free to search the internet for other ideas as well!
